| Barflowers Daisy 1980 - 2001 Chestnut Mare Sire: Turpsock Barflower Dam: Bacas Joy "Boo" was the re-start of my life with horses. She was a very gentle and loving horse and a great dam to her foals. |

| The story with her is an interesting one. As far as I know she is still alive, I hope. "Special" as I called her was a great filly. Gentlest one I've ever raised to date...would follow me around like a puppy dog. Unfortunately I had to let her go and she was evidentially sold to a nice family whose daughter showed her all over and did really well with her. She was done showing her so they decided to lease her to a college to use in their program. It is my understanding that the college sold her to another person. That person has supposedly sold her again at an auction. The people who have owned her all these years are devastated and are holding on to hope that they will find her. She is very easy to spot with her 3 tall stockings and blaze on her face. She also will have a scar from colic surgery. If you know where "Special" or "Lacy" is please contact us so we can pass the word on to her owners. |
